VisIR® Portable Skin Temperature A reliable and easy to use system for the measurement of human skin temperature. The system comprises an infrared camera linked to temperature measuring software and can be quickly installed at airports or other buildings where higher than normal body temperature might constitute a health or security hazard.
The software has a choice of 3 different alarm types for maximum flexibility. Firstly the system can be set to trigger an audible alarm when abnormally high body temperature is detected. Alternatively, the camera can be programmed to automatically save a still image and beam the file wirelessly to a remote device such as a remote networked PC or handheld PDA.
The system can also be set to trigger an on-screen alarm, external output or Stop/Go indicator.The equipment has been designed to make installation and movement of the system as quick and simple as possible and to ensure reliable and accurate body temperature monitoring with a minimum of personnel training.
Caution: Human skin temperature varies with environmental and physiological factors. Raised skin temperatures can occur in the absence of fever and vice versa
